Frenzel said yesterday that TUI, the world’s largest travel operator, already has investments in Turkey such as Robinson Club and Magic Life hotels.

He said there are many opportunities in Turkey and that TUI stands ready to invest if they find new and innovative projects and partners. Frenzel noted there are a sufficient number of five-star hotels in Turkey, but the country needs more four-star hotels. “Investors have to switch to four-star hotels,” he said.

Frenzel emphasized that Turkey has a great potential for travelers and investors that must be taken advantage of.

“Tourism must be diversified in Turkey and we are taking this into consideration,” he said, adding that Turkey should never compromise on quality or protection of the environment.
